Our Year 9 cohort began their sports leadership journey during the spring term and have started the Sports Leaders Level 1 Qualification. Within the qualification pupils need to plan, carry out and review a sports session. All pupils led a sports session at a sports events held at Rushall JMI School for a Year 6 class on 31st March 2017. The Elmwood students were great ambassadors for the school and gave the Year 6 pupils a fantastic experience across a range of sports. One pupil said ”it was their favourite day ever”. The pupils who were involved were Dion, Tyrone, Beth, Habib, Nathan, Levi, Jamie, Callum W, Callum G, Liam C and Aaron R. Well done to all pupils who led a sports session, it was a very proud moment to see our young people contribute to the learning of others.
