Dear Parents/Carers

I can’t thank you enough for the way in which you have supported the NHS in following the Government guidance regarding social distancing and remaining within the house. The Senior Leadership Team have seen many of you during the past 2 days on our rounds to provide additional support (either through food, emotional support or guidance). It was lovely to see so many happy smiling faces and to also see so many parents/carers providing safe and supportive environments. The rainbow pictures in the windows of your houses are particularly impressive.

You should have also received phone calls/e-mails or MarvellousMe’s from the Form Tutor Team or in fact face to face visits. I am aware that there are a handful of pupils who will be coming to the end of their 14 day self-isolation period so Senior Leaders will contact you on 30th March 2020 to discuss whether your child will be remaining at home (as the advice from the Government has significantly changed since you went into self-isolation).

Therefore, no pupils will access school until a risk assessment has been completed on Monday 30th March 2020.

Please keep yourself and your loved ones safe – the Elmwood staff are all thinking of you and know that if we work together we can get through this.

All the best.
