  • YEAR 11 TIMETABLE UPDATE FOR PARENTS AND CARERS

Following my Year 11 examination timetable and information letter on 15th April 2024, I am pleased to release pupils personalised timetable as part of the school’s values of “Care for Others” which will commence w/b 3rd June to w/e 28th June 2024. Pupils have had this timetable released to them this morning and are looking forward to supporting as a Teaching Assistant, when they are not completing coursework, preparing for exams or sitting their exams. It is also a great opportunity for them to plan their own time as they will be progressing to a 3 day week from September 2024. The experiences in school will also be recorded as a work experience placement and in turn a reference from a colleague from Elmwood School. If your child receives transport this will continue throughout the month of June, but they are just expected to access this on their allocated days. If you have any questions please contact me next week in preparation of the launch after half term. • Elmwood Experience Days

This term has been an opportunity for the Elmwood Community to come together and thank Specialist Schools from across the West Midlands and Secondary Schools from across the Matrix Trust for hosting “Learning From” visits during 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 for our Teachers and Teaching Assistants. These experiences have enabled staff to support our whole school development of the school. Therefore, during w/c 22nd January 2024 we welcomed 16 teachers across all subjects and key stages and w/c 19th February 2024 we welcomed 14 teaching assistants, again across a variety of key stages. Below are the comments received following these experience days. Teachers:
