We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to support across the curriculum and offer us that “spark” as we progress with our development towards greatness. The school has 82 mixed 11-16 year olds on roll split into three discreet areas. We offer a wide and personalised curriculum catering for a range of abilities up to and including GCSEs / IGCSE’s. We are looking for an innovative person who is capable of establishing positive relationships working with young people with complex needs. You must have high expectations, flexibility and resilience. If you are passionate about making a difference and genuinely care for pupils who are on the brink of social exclusion, then we would love to meet you.
The successful applicant will support the school’s Curriculum Leads in their collective drive and determination to maintain the positive outcomes currently achieved across all age ranges.
You will need experience in delivering lessons within a nurturing environment and the have the flair and creativity to deliver lessons that embody our passion of Learning Outside of The Classroom; potentially taking on responsibilities as a form tutor, as well as the creativity of engaging pupils within other thematic curriculum topics on a weekly basis.
Your knowledge will further enhance the staffing team in making every day memorable for both staff and pupils.
We encourage applicants to come and visit our school to see for yourself the true potential of our facilities. This will give you an idea of how you can develop them to continue to engage pupils whilst achieving successful and tangible academic outcomes for those who have a passion and desire for a good English qualification as a gateway to further education or employment.
