We were very saddened to hear that one of our former colleagues had recently passed away at the age of 64.

Ashley was a much loved member of staff and had worked at the school from when it opened in 2008 before moving on to pursue other things in 2014; he was a keen motorcylist and so enjoyed being out on the open road.

Ashley was also a big family man and was so proud of his children – our sincere sympathies go out to the Lewis family.

Being the man he was, Ashley had recently begun to train as a listener for the Samaritans – something he would have excelled at and been such an asset to the organisation.  Val, his wife, has shared that the Samaritans and Katherine House, were two charities that will benefit from any fundraising donations – the link to the page is https://www.justgiving.com/remember/869819/Ashley-Lewis  and any small amount will be gratefully received.

Below are tributes that have been forwarded from colleagues who wanted to share their own special thoughts/memories which we hope you enjoy reading. RIP Ashley.
